1. Basic Bid - Railroad Street Improvements (Pacific Ave. to Wharf St.) a. Construct approximately 1,203 lineal feet of new curb and gutter along various portions of Hemlock Street and approximately 3,968 square feet of sidewalk, approximately 2,333 square feet of concrete driveway, three (3) access ramps at the intersection with Center Street. b. Construct new street improvements along Hemlock Street including approximately 710 cubic yards of roadway excavation, approximately 550 tons asphalt concrete (ac) pavement, approximately 1,550 tons of aggregate base, geotextile fabric, and foundation stabilization as required. c. Construct approximately 20 lineal feet of new 24-inch storm drain, approximately 768 lineal feet of 12-inch storm drain, approximately 38 lineal feet of 8-inch storm drain, three (3) curb inlet catch basins, three (3) G2 catch basins, one (1) area drain, one (1) storm drain manhole, and 6 roof drain connections. d. Construct approximately 20 lineal feet of new 12-inch sanitary sewer line, two (2) sanitary sewer manholes, four (4) water service connections, four (4) water meter box and assembly connections, approximately 230 lineal feet of 1-inch water service line, and one (1) blowoff assembly. e. Other work includes demolition work, excavation and embankment, aggregate base, asphalt concrete pavement, relocating signs with new posts and hardware, water valve adjustments, ac pavement removal, concrete surface removal, storm drain pipe removal, thermoplastic crosswalks, thermoplastic stop bars, fencing, landscaping, and other miscellaneous items.
