Borough of Kennett Square for West South Street Sanitary Sewer Replacement Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. This project involves the replacement via upsizing of approximately 42 L.F of 12-inch diameter gravity sewer pipe, 437 L.F. of 18-inch diameter gravity sewer pipe, 442 L.F. of 24-inch diameter gravity sewer pipe, and seven precast concrete manholes. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids. Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this project.
