If you have any questions or need additional information, contact the assigned Project Buyer: Randy Williams, Utilities Director rwilliams@athenstx.gov Email the Project Buyer indicating your intent to Bid. Include the IFB number in the subject line of the email. You will receive an email response verifying your notice of intent to bid was received. This same procedure should be followed to request clarification, in writing, of any point in the IFB. Bidders are encouraged to contact the Project Buyer by email if there is anything in these specifications that prevents you from submitting a Bid or completing the Bid Packet Questions and concerns must be received no later than ten (10) days prior to the Bid Packet due date. The City requires two (2) completed Bid packets: 1 Original and 1 Copy. Each must be clearly labeled on the front sheet indicating "Original" or "Copy". One (1) electronic copy, on a USB drive is also required. Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the Bidder, the Bidder's address, and the name of the project for which the Bid is submitted. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed as specified. In case of ambiguity or lack of completeness in stating the prices in any bid, the City reserves the right to consider the most advantageous bid thereof. Bids must be valid for at least 60 days from the date of the bid opening to allow time for award by the City.
