An approximate 400 sf addition to an existing building. Some demolition required. New addition will be wood framed with metal siding and some masonry and concrete footings. New aluminum storefront doors, wood doors and vinyl windows included. Addition to existing metal roof required. Hanger rod canopies included. Removal of existing VCT and new VCT installation included. Minor mechanical and electrical work is part of the scope as well. This project must be substantially completed by October 28, 2022. Electronic Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain access after April 22, 2022, by contacting the Architect. Online access will be provided to all registered bidders and suppliers. 1. Non-Refundable Cost: $50.00. 2. Contractors and Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring that all drawing sheets and full Project Manuals have been downloaded by checking the Index of Drawings on the Title page of the drawings, the List of Drawing Sheets in the Project Manual, and the Table of Contents in the Project Manual. Notify the Architect immediately if there are discrepancies. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount FOR EACH BID OFFERED. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is not subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
