Renovation of an educational facility in Salisbury, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Project consists of a HVAC renovation and exterior window & door replacement of an elementary school. Phased construction will begin January 2023 and complete by August 10, 2024. All prospective bidders will be required to submit a pre-qualification survey Electronically - Contact Lindsey Hill at 443-497-1945 if your firm is not yet pre-qualified. MBE Participation (%) 2.0 All contractors are subject to Davis-Bacon Act (DBA) wage rates and apprenticeship training fund requirements. Certified Minority Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this notice. An overall MBE goal of Two (2)% has been established for this project. A Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of bid is required with the bid submission. Bid substitutions will not be allowed unless pre-approved (see substitution request form). All successful contractors will be required to execute a WT Subcontract (no changes) and submit a certificate of insurance meeting Whiting-Turner's insurance requirements. An excess liability policy of $2,000,000 will be mandatory for all trades. The trades being sought include, but are not limited to, the following: Demolition, Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Drywall/ceilings, Roofing, Caulking/Sealants, Aluminum Windows & Glazing, Floor Patch, Paint, Ceramic tile, Sprinkler, Mechanical, Electrical/Access Control, Site work and Construction/permanent fence.
