This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Department of Labour, Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a Parking Lot Redevelopment and Site works for 25 Gaylene Place, Winnipeg, MB as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3). A General Contractor is required to perform the following work of this Contract which comprises of the redevelopment of the parking lot and site works at the subject property located at 25 Gaylene Place, Winnipeg, Manitoba. The following is a general summary of the scope of work to be performed in conjunction with the associated project drawings and technical specifications: .1 Landscape Architectural .1 Removal and replanting of trees and shrubs; .2 Redevelopment of the parking lot layout; .3 New waste bin and recycling cart storage area; .4 New maintenance strip around the building; .5 Removal of the existing playground; .6 Positive grading from foundation and .7 Landscaping repair as necessitated by construction. .2 Municipal .1 Reconstruction of the parking lot; .2 Onsite storm-water management and .3 Regrading of the parking lot .3 Structural .1 New concrete slabs-on-grade for the shed, garbage bins and recycling cart storage area; .2 Concrete repairs for the stairs and landings at all three existing building entrances and .3 Concrete repairs to the exterior of the building foundation. .4 Electrical .1 New parking lot electrical panels; .2 Upgrade parking lot conduit and wiring devices and .3 New shed lighting.
