Summary Details: The Ministry is seeking quotations from qualified contractors for the following: To conduct a detailed field assessment of Recreation Sites and Trails that may have been impacted by the 2021 floods in the Cascades District. To complete a remediation plan for each Recreation Site or Trail to bring them back to a condition that is both safe and environmentally responsible, and suitable for the intended public recreational use. This may include, danger tree removal, facility replacement, trail or site clearing of debris, trail clearing of downed trees, re-routing of trails that are no longer safe to use or environmental sustainable, erosion control and reforestation of sites. Supply to Ministry geo referenced photos and KML of all sites and trails assessed. Submit to the Ministry costs estimates per site or trail to implement the recommended remediation plans. Assist Ministry staff in the creation and issuance of government contracts to undertake the remediation as planned. Identify to and assist Ministry staff in dealing with land authorizations, land use orders, any restrictions on type of remediation work that is recommended. Amount of works is estimated at 45 days at this time, with the understanding that associated works may exceed this timeline. Documents must be completed by a Registered Professional. Regardless of the date of execution or delivery of this Agreement, the Contractor must provide the Services during the Term. Time is of the essence in this Agreement and, without limitation, will remain of the essence after any modification or extension of this Agreement, whether or not expressly restated in the document effecting the modification or extension.
