The City of Ceres is 8 square miles with approximately 1.3 million square feet of landscaped medians and planter strips. These sites contain ground cover, trees, and plant materials. Maintenance shall include but is not limited to weeding (mechanical and chemical), plant maintenance, litter removal, irrigation systems, pest management, and tree maintenance. Generally, tree and plant materials shall be maintained in a healthy, well-groomed condition, and all areas shall be kept weed and debris free.Contract term is for one (1) year.The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.New Service Agreement will begin July 1, 2022 (tentative) TRACTOR shall provide in accordance with Sections 3247 and 3248 of the California Civil Code a payment bond for not less than 100% of the contract price. CONTRACTOR shall also provide a faithful performance bond for not less than 100% of the contract price. All bonds must be executed by a corporate surety licensed to conduct business in the State of California, and approved by the CITY.
