The City of Long Beach (City) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Electrical Switchgear services for the Department of Parks, Recreation and Marine. It is imperative to establish a power source capable of providing sufficient power to the building(s) due to loss of power. This will allow the operation of the trailer generators (purchased with UASI funding) in a safe manner to provide air conditioning, lighting, and other necessary functions to operate a Mass Care Shelter site, including the use of the pool showers (building next to the community centers).
