Site work and outdoor lighting for a road / highway in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Completed plans call for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

Marquette Avenue Overpass Lighting Installation nstallation of an LED banner sign mounted on the bottom of the existing steel pipe structure over the Marquette Avenue overpass roadway. Installation of 4 sets of steel pipe frames, west of the existing steel pipe structure to be installed on the east abutment and then on the succeeding 3 roadway piers. Also included are four new tension rods. Two tension rod assemblies to be installed on the existing steel pipe structure extending east, and two tension rod assemblies attached to the westernmost new steel pipe structure at pier 9, and extended to the west to pier 8. Spanning between each steel pipe frame will be 17 LED ribbon light strands, each 71' - 41/2 long. The LED lights will be activated by a radar/motion sensor. A new pre-engineered metal modular building will be installed on the west side of the railroad tracks on the north side of the Convention Center within the Convention Center property. The new building will be the Control Building. Internet connection will be wireless from the Plaza del Sol Building. Electrical power for the Control Building will be brought in underground from transformer on 1st St. NW, just north of the Convention Center surface parking lot. Internet/control wiring will then be brought up one of the piers and extended to the piers with the new steel pipe frames. Electrical service for the LED lights and sign will be brought in from an existing transformer on Commercial Street, at street level below the overpass, at pier 9W. A Deductive Alternate is also required to be provided for extending the lighting installation to pier 10W (in lieu of Pier 9W as described in the Base Bid). The Bidder's attention is specifically directed to the Instructions to Bidders, Special Provisions and Supplemental Special Provisions contained in the Contract Documents. By submitting a bid, contractor agrees to abide by all provisions of both the Accountability in Government Ordinance (Section 2-10-1 COA) and the Inspector General Ordinance (2-17-1 COA). Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, all meetings and bid openings will be held in accessible buildings and other accommodations will be made to facilitate people with disabilities being able to participate in the bid opening. Given reasonable notice, interpreters and readers will be made available for hearing or visually impaired.
