Site work for a mixed-use development in Edson, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
This project is for the construction of a Class II Compost Facility at the Town of Edson Class III Landfill located in NE 1/4 09-53-17 W5M. The following is a brief description of the major components of the work and the approximate quantities: Strip and Stockpile Topsoil 1,200 cu m Excavate and Compact in Embankments 2,400 cu m Move, Store, and Place existing Compost on Completed Pad 2,200 cu m Supply and Install GCL Liner 5,900 sq m Supply and Install Geotextile 5,900 sq m Supply and Install Geomembrane HDPE Liner 1,600 sq m Anchor Trench for geosynthetics 150 lin m Supply and Install 300 mm thick Crushed Gravel 1,800 cu m Excavate and Place 300 mm thick Protective Soil Cover 1,800 cu m Supply and Install Langley Game Fence and Gates 160 lin m Cancelled.
