Site work, paving and remodeling of a mixed-use development in Streamwood, Illinois. Completed plans call for the remodel of a clubhouse / community center; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: select interior demolition and remodeling including new wall construction, painting, finished floors and ceilings, roofing, a new ADA accessible entry vestibule addition with a hydraulic elevator, and exterior site improvements including a new ramp, stair, and sidewalk replacement. Select HVAC, plumbing, and electrical replacements are also included. Refer to the Project Manual and Drawings for the full extent of the Work that will be required. A Bid Security of 10% of the Base Bid is required with the proposal. The Contractor must pay the Prevailing Wage Rates for all work per Illinois Law. The Park District reserves the right to waive all technicalities, to accept or reject any or all bids, to accept only portions of a bid and reject the remainder. The Park District will award the Contract to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder, as determined by it. In considering the Bidder's responsibility, the Park District may evaluate, among other factors, the ability of the Bidder to provide experienced labor sufficient in numbers to timely and properly complete the work, the financial capability of the Bidder, the performance of the Bidder on other projects, and whether the Bidder is debarred by the Illinois Department of Labor from performing public works projects in Illinois.
