TRFO GATE INSTALLATIONS Bureau of Land Management, Department of the Interior, Colorado State Office, Lakewood, Colorado has a requirement for TRFO GATE INSTALLATIONS. The work includes, but is not limited to furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to install steel tube gates onto new steel posts. Work also includes removal and disposal of existing wood gate posts and removal of steel sign panels. Animas Mountain Sites: (Day 1) Gate installation sites for Animas Mountain shall require approximately a 2.7 mile up and back hike to the sites. Anticipate approximately 3 hours for prebid tour. Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Animas Mountain Trailhead. Directions to the trailhead: From Main Street in Durango, head West on W. 32nd Street, turn right onto W. 4th Ave and continue until aggregate parking area/trailhead at end of W. 4th Ave. Big Canyon Sites: (Day 2) Gate installation sites for Big Canyon shall require approximately a 6mile one way hike and the use of two vehicles for each proposed bidder. One vehicle shall be parked at the bottom of the trail near Site #4 and the other vehicle shall be used to drive to the Parking for East Access as shown on the drawings. Anticipate approximately 67 hours for prebid tour. Meet at 8:00 a.m. at the bottom of the Big Canyon Trail. Directions to the trail: From Hwy 160 (S. Camino Del Rio) south of Durango, turn northeast onto Dominquez Dr. and continue approximately 1 block, turning northwest(left) and park along road immediately after turning left.
