Project Name: Pavement Spot Repairs (Various Locations) Project (TRACS) Number: F0506 / F0507 / F0508 / F0509 / F0510 / F0517 / F0518 District: Varies (see below) Route/MP: Varies (see below) Funding Source: Minor & Preventative Pavement Preservation Construction Funding FY: Varies (see below) These seven (7) projects are distributed throughout Arizona and have been prioritized by the Pavement Management Section to receive 2 inch pavement spot repairs to rehabilitate substandard conditions. Each project will include a scoping phase to establish costs of implementing pavement spot repairs and associated ADA and guardrail improvements. For projects selected to continue into final design, the Consultant shall provide construction documents for spot repairs and, as needed, 1) address ADA non-compliance features, 2) address deficient guardrail, 3) complete AASHTO design exceptions, and 4) complete an AASHTO analysis for features requesting a design exception. The original contract modification will be executed for the scoping of the four (4) projects programmed for FY22 design. A second contract modification will be executed for the scoping of the three (3) projects programmed for FY23 design. Scoping construction cost estimates will be used to determine which of seven (7) projects will be carried into final design. A final contract modification will be executed for the final design of selected projects. A tentative sequencing of the potential contract modifications for scoping and final design is shown below: Task 1: Scoping - F0506, F0510, F0517, F0518 (FY22 Design) Task 2: Scoping - F0507, F0508, & F0509 (FY23 Design) Task 3: Final Design - F0506, F0510, F0517, & F0518 (FY22 Design) and F0507, F0508, & F0509 (FY23 Design) Final Questions Due: May 11, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. As the project progresses, it is anticipated that an additional scope task that may be requested on this project will be Monument Existing Right of Way Questions, in Writing, Shall Be Received by Ecs at the Below Email Address Until 3 Business Days Before Soi Due Date at 2:00 P.m. (Arizona Time). No Further Questions Shall Be Accepted After the Time Specified. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
