PROJECT TITLE: Deck Replacement and Miscellaneous Repairs, St. Georges Bridge SOLICITATION NUMBER: W912BU22B0016 BID OPENING DATE: 26 September 2022 at 11:00 AM EST PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The repair of severely advanced deteriorated concrete substructure piers with large spalls, delaminated concrete, and exposed rebar TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firmed Fixed Price NAICS CODE: 237310 SIZE STANDARDS: $39.5 MILLION FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION UNRESTRICTED. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District intends to award a firm fixed-price that consists of the repair of severely advanced deteriorated concrete substructure piers with large spalls, delaminated concrete, and exposed rebar. Repairs will include removal and replacement of these significantly deteriorated areas of concrete. The total repair area for all of the piers is expected to be approximately 10,000 sf. The acquisition will be made using sealed bidding, a single award will be made as a whole, to the lowest priced, responsive bidder determined to be responsible in accordance with FAR Part 14 Procedures.
