Borough of Glasgow (hereinafter referred to as "Owner"), requires services to prepare/repair the existing subbase, deliver, place and compact approximately 1110 tons of DSA and 550 tons of 2A aggregate, to the following streets and alley located in the Borough: o Main Steet, o Merchants Alley, o Custom House Alley, o Center Alley, o Market Street, o Church Alley, o Exchange Street, o School House Alley, o Union Lane and o Front Street Preparing sub-base, placing and compacting Driving Surface Aggregate for approximately 3,200 LF of Borough roads and alley with varying width (12-16 ft). It is the responsibility of any person or organization interested in a hard copy of the Bidding Documents to pay all costs associated with printing. Prior to start of work, the successful contractor shall provide a Certificate of Insurance as specified. All forms included in this RFQ shall be completed for the proposal to be deemed complete. The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposal or any part of a proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough. Project shall begin on April 3rd, 2023 and shall be completed by May 15th, 2023. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all quotes and to waive any technical defects, if it determines that it is in the best interest of the Owner.Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined by the Owner.
