The Town of Mount Airy is soliciting bids from Fence Contractors for the installation of chain link fencing around a couple play fields along Back Acre Circle. There will not be a pre-bid meeting for this project . However, the Contractor may contact the Town Engineer with any questions or to visit the premises. Inquiries concerning the scope and bidding documents or other technical questions shall be directed to the Town Engineer at 301-829-1424 (if automated phone system, select engineering). The Town of Mount Airy hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any Bid, and to accept the Bid which, in the judgment of the Owner, is to its best interest. The project is located at Twin Arch Park, 1901 Back Acre Circle, Mount Airy, MD 21771. Field #1 is the north field adjacent to the townhomes and Field #2 is the south field adjacent to the basketball court. Contractor shall provide pricing options to install 200 linear feet of green, vinyl-coated chain link fence on the eastern end of Field #1 at the following height options: 10 ft, 12 ft, and 14 ft. Include an inset gate at corner where new fence meets the existing. Contractor shall provide pricing options to install 180 linear feet of green, vinyl-coated chain link fence on the eastern end of Field #2 at the following height options: 10 ft, 12 ft, and 14 ft. Include an inset gate at corner where new fence meets the existing.
