Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Concord, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be done in general consists of mobilization, traffic control, curb ramp installation, signing, traffic striping and markings, rectangular rapid flashing beacon, traffic signal modification, and all other work as specified in these Special Provisions and shown in the Drawings. The estimated construction cost for the project is approximately $154,000. The Contractor shall possess at least one of the following valid Contractor's licenses at the time the bids are opened: Class "A," General Engineering Contractor, or; Class "C-10," Electrical Contractor. There is no pre-bid meeting for this work; however, contractors are strongly encouraged to visit all sites in advance of the bid to familiarize themselves with the nature of the existing conditions. Labor Compliance Requirements (Prevailing Wage, SB854 Etc.).. For information regarding the project, contact Tianjun Cao, P.E., Associate Civil Engineer, at Tianjun.Cao@cityofconcord.org. All Bids Shall Be Presented Under Sealed Cover and Shall Be Accompanied by Cash, Cashier's or Certified Check or a Bidder's Bond Executed By a Corporate Surety Insurer. The Bidder's Guarantee Shall Be in an Amount Equal to at Least Ten Percent (10%) of the Amount Bid and Made Payable to the City of Concord.
