The Contra Costa Water District (District) is requesting proposals to provide on-call potholing services for various design projects, including, but not limited to, water main replacements for Fiscal Year 2023 with an optional 12-month extension period for Fiscal Year 2024, to be exercised at the District's sole discretion. Project sites will be located throughout the District's Treated Water Service Area, which includes the Cities of Concord, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek, Clayton, Pacheco, Martinez, Clyde, and Port Costa, along the Contra Costa Canal right-of-way, in the public right-of-way, as well as private District right-of-way, and/or at any of the District's treated water facilities sites. Unless excused by the District, the Contractor shall furnish, on forms provided by the District, a Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond, each of which shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount specified in section 3 of the Agreement. The District reserves the right to reject or accept any proposal or combination of proposals
