construction of the project known as Phase 2 Los Vaqueros Reservoir Expansion Project Transfer Pipeline Inspection according to drawings and specifications as prepared by the Contra Costa Water District and according to the Contract Documents. The Work includes: Dewatering and Inspection of approximately 20,500 linear feet of 72" diameter cement mortar lined and coated welded steel pipe; provision of temporary piping to provide water to ponds; provision of a temporary domestic and fire water system to serve the District's Los Vaqueros Watershed Office at the location shown on the project drawings and as more specifically described in Paragraphs 01500-2.2, A through E, and Paragraph 01500-12.0; and provision of trucked water to the Los Vaqueros Watershed Office and to cattle troughs within a 5-mile radius of the Los Vaqueros Watershed Office. The location of the project site is Walnut Boulevard between Vasco Road and Los Vaqueros Reservoir, Byron, California Project is to be completed within 216 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Time for commencement and completion of the Work is important, and is to be of the essence of the Contract.
