The Town of New Tecumseth intends to retain a certified chemical supplier for the supply, delivery, and off loading of all the chemicals required to treat the Town's drinking water. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be awarded on Friday, June 10, 2022 and will be for a term of 3 years, with an option in favour of the Town to extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to two (2) - one (1) year extensions. The procurement method used is Request for Quotation. The lowest quotation for the deliverables will be awarded. Estimated annual quantity is 122,000 L of Sodium Hypochlorite and 53,000 KG of Sodium Silicate N. There will be no public opening.
