Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in New Tecumseth, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 146,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 1,288-seat educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; and 49-seat day care center.
Construction of a high school to replace the existing school originally built in 1949. The school will house 1,288 students. The project will include demolition of the existing school on the Banting Homestead property. Project will include 49 new child-care spaces. TIMELINE: Conceptual planning is ongoing. Funding approvals are in place from the Ministry of Education since 2021. A preferred site has been selected; green light has been granted to proceed the project to the design and municipal approval phases. An architect will be secured from the owner's Invited list. General Contractor will eventually be secured through a prequalified process. Further update early 2026.
