**As of 7/7/2022 The project was awarded to New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. Inc. 180,419.46 . Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the Bid amount, the Workmen's Compensation Affidavit, Public Works Employment Verification Form and an Anti-Collusion Affidavit must accompany the Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening. Bids may not be withdrawn during this period. The successful Bidder(s) shall be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.Work to be completed on or before 10/14/2022 .After 10/14/2022 Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $ 870.00 per calendar day.CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 5/27/2022 1:00 PM Manheim Borough hereby reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids submitted or any part thereof or item therein. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received.Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis.
