Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Normal, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
General Project Description: This project consists of furnishing all work necessary for the completion of milling and hot mix asphalt overlay, along with necessary incidentals, on various width streets in the Town of Normal, Illinois. The proposed improvement consists of the following approximate quantities: 24,605 SY Hot Mix Asphalt Surface Removal; 16,750 pounds Bituminous Materials (Tack Coat); 6,750 feet Longitudinal Joint Sealant; 775 tons Polymerized HMA Binder Course, IL-4.75, N50; 420 tons HMA Surface Course, Mix C, N50; 1,819 tons Polymerized HMA Surface Course, SMA, 9.5, Mix E, N80; 250 SY Class D Patches; 1,250 feet Combination Concrete Curb and Gutter, Removal and Replacement, Special; adjustment or replacement of 64 water and sewer structures; 7,800 feet Short-term Pavement Markings - Paint; 1,950 feet Short-term Pavement Markings - Tape ; and all other necessary items and incidentals required to complete this project according to the plans and specifications. Requesting Department: Engineering Project Manager: Eric Herbst The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. The bid award will be made by the Town Council, and the decision of the Council will be final.
