Renovation of a multi-residential development in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

As of March 17, 2023, a general contractor has been awarded, but construction is not expected to commence until late summer 2023. Work in general shall consist of the following work items: Single base bid for Removing and replacing siding and windows all as shown on the drawings and specifications. All plan deposit checks shall be made out to the Stevens Point Housing Authority. Nonrefundable mailing fee shall be made payable to Architects Group Limited. Electronic copies of the Plans and Specifications are available at no cost by contacting Architects Group Ltd. Bid Form, Bid Bond, Form of NonCollusive Affidavit, and Representations, Certifications and Other Statements of Bidders forms shall be submitted with bid. Failure to do so may be cause for rejection of bid. Copies of the abovementioned forms are in the specification book. Contractors shall also provide with bid, letters regarding Minority Participation and Section 3 Participation as outlined in these documents. A bid bond of 5% is required to be submitted with the bids for bids over $25,000 and the bonding company listed in Circular 570. See instructions to bidders for bond requirements. Each Bidder shall comply completely with Instructions to Bidders, Supplementary Instructions to Bidders and General Conditions of the Contract for Construction. This shall include evidence of an Affirmative Action Program, including women and minorities. Follow Executive Order 11246. Contractors shall comply with minimum salaries listed in the wage rates included in the specification. The Stevens Point Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Stevens Point Housing Authority. The requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 apply to this project and to the greatest extent feasible, contractors shall fulfill their obligation to utilize lower income residents as trainees and/or employees. See Supplementary Instructions to Bidders and General Conditions of the Contract for Construction, Article 40, regarding their responsibilities.
