Site work and paving for a civil project in Reading, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Project work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment for paving several projects as described below. 1) 2022 Permanent trench pavement restoration for 23 locations within the City of Reading to be completed in 2022 as shown in Bid documents: 2) EXTRA: 2022 Pavement Restoration projects that were associated with water main repair /replacement projects within RAWA's primary water service territory, which includes the City of Reading; portions of Kenhorst Borough; and portions of Cumru, Muhlenberg and Bern Townships. Qualified bidders shall be able to demonstrate directly relevant experience with the installation of water facilities located in urban areas. Clarification Deadline: 8/26/2022 4:00 PM Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. The Reading Area Water Authority, Owner hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received.
