The Montana Department of Transportation is accepting offers for construction of Bozeman Hill Stockpile Site - Sand/Salt Cover Structure in accordance with the terms & conditions, requirements, and specifications provided herein. Work is requested to be completed on or before August 31, 2022. The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is accepting offers for design, supply, and construction of a post & truss style structure at the Bozeman Stockpile Site, which is located east of Bozeman, MT on I-90, milepost 321.1. Structure is to be pre-engineered to meet all local, county and state building codes. All work is to be done in compliance with building codes and materials shall be installed per manufacturer specifications. It should be noted by the designer that this site is prone to high winds. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to design, supply, and construct a Sand/Salt Cover Structure in accordance with standard terms and conditions, general requirements, and specifications provided herein. Contractor shall submit, provide, and pay associated costs, for proper building permits/plan review fees. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining all local, state, and county building permits necessary. Site preparation work at the above listed location will be performed by MDT prior to construction operations commencement. Work site is to be neatly maintained and clean throughout the duration of the project as not to interfere with MDT's daily operations. MDT will dispose of the spoils (if any), be responsible for supplying and placing finish grade materials inside and out of the building, and provide and purchase/install the concrete ECO blocks.
