The Board of County Commissioners of Seward County, Kansas, will accept sealed bids for weatherization renovations for the Seward County Administration Building located at 515 N. Washington Ave., Liberal, Kansas.Bid Security is NOT required on this project. In the event an accepted bidder's contract price is $25,000 or greater, the accepted bidder will be required to provide a performance bond equal to 100% percent of the contract price. Such bond will be required at contract signing. All contractors and subcontractors that work on the project must be licensed with Seward County.

Work consists of exterior weatherization renovations including resealing expansion control joints in brick walls, mortar joint reconstruction of cultured stone brick bands and generalized caulking and sealing on the Seward County Administration Building. This encouragement does not infer preference and all solicitations will be evaluated equally. All purchases shall give preference to Seward County merchants when applicable. Award shall be made to the best bidder within Seward County when the amount is not more than five percent (5%) higher than the best out-of-county bid.
