The Société is a financially independent non-profit paramunicipal organization, mandatary of the City of Montreal. The Company is requesting tenders which must be received by the date and time indicated below, at the office of the Company located at 800, boulevard De Maisonneuve Est, suite 2200, Montreal (Quebec) H2L 4L8. CATEGORY: REHABILITATION WORK OF VACANT HOUSING DESCRIPTION: The Company intends to grant two (2) framework agreements to one or two general contractors able to carry out several restoration works in vacant residential dwellings managed by the Company or its agents. Each of the framework agreements covers a defined sector and will be awarded separately to the lowest conforming bidder. The same bidder may be retained to carry out the work in the two (2) sectors. The contractor must be able to carry out up to three (3) residential repairs simultaneously per sector, according to the requirements and within the deadlines set out in this tender document. GUARANTEE AND INSURANCE: The bid must be accompanied at least by one (1) bid guarantee in the amount of $20,000. If the Tenderer wishes to bid for more than one (1) sector, he must submit an additional bid guarantee, separate from the first guarantee, in the amount of $20,000 each, for each sector tendered. Each bid bond must be valid for 60 days. A certificate of general civil liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000 will be required when the framework agreement is granted. To be validly received, the tender documents must be placed in a clearly identified envelope bearing the description of the project as well as the tender number, which must be sealed.
