**As of February 22, 2022, project was awarded to Midlantic Marking Inc., awarded amount is $81,121.76.** Lower Macungie Township will receive sealed bids for its 2022 Roadway Line Striping Program which includes 178,425 L.F. of double yellow centerline, 338,860 L.F. of 4-inch white fog line, 12,462 L. F. of 6-inch white fog line, 28 EA. bike lane markings (Figure 9C-9) and 36 EA. bike lane markings (Figure 9C-3A), all to be waterborne-type in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, Section 962. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of PennDOT Pub. 408, made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to the Contract Price and meeting PennDOT Pub. 408, Section 103.04 requirements. This project is considered maintenance and is not subject to the terms and conditions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as determined by the Secretary of Labor and Industry, and is to be bid as such. The successful bidder is assessed a variable award fee from PennBid. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality, and to reject any or all Bids.
