Edmonton - Alberta Innovates Millwoods ARC Lab/Admin Building – Air Handling System Replacement, BioTech Lab Centre – Replace Cooling System and Controls, and Lab/Admin Building – Replace Air Handling Damper and Coil Including Insulation The intent of this Adjusted Price bid call is to solicit and receive formal offers to perform the following Work: Mechanical upgrades related to the HVAC equipment for AB Innovates at their Millwoods ARC site in Edmonton, Alberta. Included will be the following general scope of work: Project P-001065.1 – Lab and Admin Building – Air Handling System Replacement: .1 Replace existing air handling unit AH-6 with a new, custom, multizone, dual deck air-handling system. .2 Replace existing air handling unit AH-11 with a new custom air-handling system. .3 Replace the heating coil in air handling unit AH-15 and repair/modify the existing mezzanine drain pan. .4 Replace the existing supply fans serving built-up air systems PCD, VV3, and VV4 with new fanwall systems. .5 Replace the existing heating and cooling coils serving built-up air systems ICD, PCD, VV3, and VV4. .6 Replace existing hydronic pumps serving the above air systems. .7 Revise existing hydronic piping to accommodate new coils and pumps. .8 Remove redundant and abandoned piping. .9 Revise electrical distribution to accommodate the mechanical upgrades. .10 Revise existing controls.
