Renovation of a multi-residential development in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 18-story above grade multi-residential development.
31 Gilder Drive is an 18-storey apartment building built in approximately 1970. The existing fire alarm system at this building has significant deficiencies with respect to the fire alarm wiring and the general condition of the system, including: insufficient fault isolation, poor tolerance to line-to-line Data Communication Link faults, incompatible isolator modules and generally poor condition of existing field wiring, to name a few. As a result, a full fire alarm system upgrade is to be executed at this site. Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC) is seeking a Contractor for the provision of fire alarm system upgrade services at 31 Gilder Dr. TCHC will be awarding the contract to the lowest total priced submission.
