Renovation of a fire / police facility in Surrey, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, labour, coordination, disposals, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of construction and renovation of RCMP HQ - Flooring Replacement, located at 14355 57 Ave., Surrey, British Columbia (the "Place of Work") in strict accordance with the Specifications and accompanying Drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract. The general components of the Work include: Verify the flooring dimensions to accurately determine material requirements Material supply, storage, handling, and acclimatization Removal and disposal of all existing flooring and baseboard related material and adhesives, as required to allow for new material install All furniture lifting and moving as required to complete installation Complete subfloor and underlayment preparation and testing in strict accordance with manufacturers requirements, including but not limited to moisture, pH, temperature, and bond testing Supply and install of new flooring including approximately 27,500 sq. ft. of carpet, 3,700 sq. ft. of sheet vinyl, 1,300 sq. ft. of luxury vinyl tile, transitions, and rubber base boards, strictly as per manufacturers installation instructions and including the use of only manufacturer recommended adhesives Supply of 3% surplus material as specified Award amount was not released for publication.
