Bradley County Sheriffs Office is seeking sealed bids for the replacement of two (2) ninety (90) gallon water heaters and replacement of all compromised piping at the Bradley County Workhouse facility. The successful bidder shall not provide the products until a fully executed contract has been received by the County. The bidder must indemnify and hold the County harmless throughout the contract. The bidder must also provide general, professional liability and workers compensation insurance during the term of the contract in a minimum amount of $1,000,000.00. The County reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to reject any or all bids with or without cause, and/or accept the bid, that in its judgment, will be in the best interest of Bradley County. The intention for this Request for Bids is to solicit bids from qualified, experienced professionals that clearly demonstrate a cost-effective ability to provide the requested services for this Project. The project must be completed in full within sixty (60) calendar days from the date that all the equipment for the project is received by bidder. Bids should include a specific timetable for the completion of the project that complies with this requirement. Failure to complete the project within the specified time allowed will result in a ten percent (10%) penalty and an additional ten percent (10%) penalty for each subsequent thirty (30) day period during which the entire project fails to be completed will be assessed.
