Renovation of a library in Blackey, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Letcher County Public Library Board of Trustees is requesting sealed bids for a Lump Sum General Construction Award for Renovations at the Blackey Public Library Branch, located at 295 Main Street Loop, Blackey, KY. Each BID shall be accompanied by a BID BOND, executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, IN THE SUM OF NOT LESS THAN FIVE PERCENT (5%) OF THE AMOUNT OF THE BASE PROPOSAL. The bid security is required as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a Contract will be immediately entered into and the performance of it properly secured. The Contractor awarded a Contract for this project will be required to provide a 100% Performance and Payment Bond on the forms provided in the Project Manual. Bids are to be lump sum and valid for 45 days from the day of opening. The Letcher County Library Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
