Concrete Ramps 25 C.y. Prefabricated Steel Box Truss 71 Foot Span Checks Shall Be Made Payable to Spence Engineering. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond to the Order of the Borough of Saddle River, N.j. In the Amount Equal to 10 Percent of the Amount Bid for Road Construction, Not to Exceed $20,000.00. Each Bid Must Also Be Accompanied by an Agreement to Become Surety Properly Executed by an Approved Surety Company Authorized to Do Business in the State of New Jersey With Underwriting Capacity in the State of New Jersey at Least Equal to 100% of the Amount the Bid. Further, the Surety Must Not Be Disbarred for Any Reason. The Prescribed Agreement of Surety Form Must Be Duly Executed by the Surety, and Attached to the Proposal With the Requisite Corporate Seals and/or Powers of Attorney. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish Bonds for the Faithful Performance of the Contract, and to Secure the Payment of All Claims for Services Performed and Materials and Equipment Furnished. The Prescribed Forms for Such Bonds Are Contained in the Bid Package and Must Be Used. No Substitute Forms of Bonds Will Be Accepted. Each Bond Must Be in the Amount of Not Less Than 100 Percent of the Total Price Bid for the Completed Work and Similarly Must Be Issued by Sureties Authorized to Business in the State of New Jersey With Sufficient Underwriting Capacity in the State of New Jersey (as Defined Above) and Good and Current Standing. In the Case of a Bidder, Which Is a Corporation, Not Incorporated in the State of New Jersey, the Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Proper Certificate Demonstrating That Such Corporation Is Currently Authorized to Do Business in New Jersey. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish a New Jersey Statutory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the Amount of the Contract Sum, and a Maintenance Bond in the Amount of 10 Percent of the Contract Sum.
