Bids submitted prior to this time must be submitted to Mr. Sean Asay, Clerk, Borough of Island Heights, P.O. Box 797, Island Heights, New Jersey 08732. Deviation from this submittal procedure will subject the proposal to rejection. The work of this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: MILL & OVERLAY OF THE MUNICIPAL COMPLEX PARKING LOT INCLUDING THE INSTALLATION OF 90 LF CONCRETE CURB, 35 SY DENSE GRADED AGGREGATE, 6,630 SY VARIABLE DEPTH MILLING, 750 TONS SURFACE COURSE, STRIPING, 500 SY OF GRASS INSTALLATION, AND ALL OTHER WORK NECESSARY AND INCIDENTAL THERETO. Each Proposal must be submitted utilizing the forms contained within the Contract Documents. It must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the BIDDER, his address and name of Project(s) for which the Bid is submitted. Materials to be contained within the sealed envelope are specified under "Instructions to Bidders." Bid Proposals shall be complete, in ink, and any Bids incomplete or not submitted in a sealed, specially addressed envelope may be considered informal. The payment shall be in a check form and shall be drawn Payable to VAN CLEEF ENGINEERING ASSOCIATES, LLC Payment will not be refunded and the Contract Documents need not be returned. Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Borough of Island Heights, and shall be without condition or qualification. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids, if it is in the public interest to do so.
