Modernization of one (1) geared traction service elevator located in Leonard Hall and one (1) hydraulic service elevator located in Donald Gordon Conference Centre. Scope includes but is not limited to: Leonard Hall Replace controller Replace hoist motor and machine Replace car operating panels Cab finish upgrades and fixtures Compliance with current FEO requirements, New machine room HVAC (if required) Miscellaneous electrical upgrades and related work to meet TSSA compliance (grounding, disconnects, GFCI receptacles, lighting levels, guarding, etc.) Donald Gordon Conference Centre Replace Controller Replace pumping unit and hydraulic reservoir Replace car operating panels Cab finish upgrades and fixtures Compliance with current FEO requirements, New machine room HVAC (if required) Miscellaneous electrical upgrades and related work to meet TSSA compliance (grounding, disconnects, GFCI receptacles, lighting levels, guarding, etc.) Note: Specification Section 1.76 notes water infiltration in the elevator pit. This issue has been investigated by a structural engineer and doesn't pose an immediate issue. Drain and sump pump are currently installed and in working order. Queen's can have pit pumped upon request and prior to any necessary inspections with TSSA. It's assumed that infiltration issue will not affect approval process with TSSA.
