NOTICE TO BID Sealed proposals will be received from licensed contractors by the Univer- sity of North Alabama at East Campus located at 1660 Tune Avenue, Flo- rence, AL 35630 on Tues- day June 7, 2022 at 2:00PM CDT, for restroom improvements in Rice Hall located on the main cam- pus as defined within bid documents BID2022-18 found at https://www.una.edu/pur- chasing/bids. Contact the Facilities Department to re- ceive all drawings associ- ated with the repair, kchudson@una.edu . No- tice authorized by Dr. Ken- neth Kitts, President. 5/22, 5/29, 6/5 2022 Scope of Work: Per Rice Restroom Improvements drawing and specifications sheets dated 5/5/22. The work generally includes: Replacement of toilet partitions Demo shower stall masonry/ceiling, and shower partitions, including proper diposal Install new stalls with light gauge metal stud framing and moisture resistant gypsum board Install new fiberglass shower assembly stall with new shower heads and mixing valves Install new shower partitions install new moisture resistant gypsum board ceiling with new recessed moisture resistant LED light fixture over each shower stall. Replace 4 sinks and faucets with associated plumbing (supply line/stop valves/trap/undersink piping cover for anti-scald). Site cleanup
