Project Description: The work under this contract includes constructing a new single-family home and one two-car garage. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through website for bids to be accepted. Bidders must be pre-qualified with Community Development Authority of the City of Racine to qualify to bid. This project is valued between $250,000 and $300,000. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Community Development Authority of the City of Racine reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or accept that bid which in the opinion of the owner will serve the best interest of the City. The Community Development Authority must prequalify bidders. Deadline for submitting a prequalification application is five (5) days prior to the time of bid opening.
