The work under this contract includes construction of a new single-family house and garage. Contract to include all work according to work specifications, work write up and drawings. The work on this contract is located at 233 Jones St. City of Racine, Racine WI Work on this contract shall be completed within 180 calendar days Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Community Development Authority of the City of Racine reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or accept that bid which in the opinion of the owner will serve the best interest of the City. The Community Development Authority must prequalify bidders. Deadline for submitting a prequalification application is five (5) days prior to the time of bid opening. The CDA highly encourages all contractors and sub-contractors to follow the requirements of Section 46-41 - Racine Works Program of the Racine Municipal Code and is outlined in Ordinance No. 0008-18 - Racine Works. This project is not subject to Racine works Program. The CDA requires documentation of all contractors and sub-contractors. This documentation includes all employees and consists of the following. 1: Name 2: Address 3: Race 4: Gender Documentation must be completed received in writing before final payment on project is dispersed. Prevailing Wage Rates may be required, refer to the Labor Standards section of the Contract Documents to determine applicability and see Wage Rates. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
