The Work for which Bids are asked includes the following: Contract No. 1 - Bluff Road Culvert Replacement Project will include removal of the existing asphalt pavement, excavation and removal of existing culvert structure, installation of the new 48" diameter CMP culvert, backfilling, paving, erosion control installation, and site restoration. The Bluff Road Culvert Replacement is a County Bridge Aid project. There is no prevailing wage determination for this project. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner.
