The work includes the furnishing of the labor, materials, and equipment for Mill & Inlay, General Paving, Crack Sealing, Curb & Gutter, Reinforced Driveways, Sidewalks & Ramps, Collars, and Striping as specified per the drawings attached. The project is located at Harding, 9 th and H streets, Crescent City, CA. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty bond, or a certified or cashier's check payable to the order of the Owner in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid as a guaranty that the bidder will execute the contract if it is awarded in conformity with the bid form. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. At the successful Bidder's option, securities may be substituted for the required retention, in accordance with the provisions of Section 22300 of the State of California Public Contract Code. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to determine which bid is, in the Owner's judgment, the lowest responsive bid of a bidder or group of bidders. The Owner also reserves the right to waive any informalities in any bid and to delete items listed in the bid. Bids received after the time established for receiving bids will not be considered. Except as provided in paragraph 00 20 10-1.04, no bidder may withdraw his bid after the time established for receiving bids or before the award and execution of the contract, unless the award is delayed for a period exceeding ninety (90) calendar days.
