Renovation of a municipal facility in Farmington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Following the Façade Panel Investigation, it has been recommended that the suspect panel be removed to fully assess the cause of the displacement and to develop a means for repair. This work will necessarily require removal of all panels above the suspect panel in order to minimize damage to adjacent façade panels and require that repair details be developed during construction as the defective conditions of the displaced panel are revealed. It is herein assumed that the existing panel may be reused.
