Renovation of a power facility in Wenatchee, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Awarded contractor: Bender CCP, Inc Amount awarded: $5,000,000.00 The Project is located at sites in Rock Island, Rocky Reach and Chelan Falls Hydro facilities located in Chelan and Douglas counties along the Columbia River from near Rock Island up to Chelan Falls. The scope of the work is to provide labor and consumable materials for disassembly, repair and re-assembly of hydro generating units. Work could include wicket gate line boring, turbine runner and discharge liner weld repairs, structural welding repair, generator stator reshaping, rotor rim stacking, rotor pole removal and installation, bearing plate grouting, etc. Sealed bids will be received by Public Utility District No. 1 of Chelan County, Washington, at the office of the District, Attention: Brenda Guske, Procurement and Contract Services, 327B North Wenatchee Avenue, Wenatchee, Washington, 98801, for supplying all labor, materials, tools, equipment, facilities, and all other appliances and supplies as specified, and performing all work required in accordance with the Contract Documents. The District reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept any bid which is in the District's best interests.
