Site work and paving for a civil project in Laurel, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Construction of the: 7th Street Water Main Replacement The work under this Contract generally consists of installing approximately 960 ft. of new 8 PVC water main to replace the existing 4 water main between Railroad Ave. and West Street within the Town of Laurel. The existing water main is to be abandoned in place with portions of the main to be removed as necessary to facilitate the connection of the new water main. Included within this work are new water services, valves, hydrants, bituminous milling and paving, etc. All work shall be in conformance with this Project Manual as well as with the Town of Laurel s Standard Specifications and Details for Public Works Construction. The Town of Laurel reserves the right to extend the time and place of the Bid Opening on not less than two (2) calendar days notice. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Town of Laurel may appear, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any items of any bid. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) are encouraged to respond.
