Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Aklavik, Northwest Territories. Completed plans call for the construction of a 99,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 102-unit elderly care / assisted living facility.
Avens pavilion seniors independent and supportive living facility design build. The facility, due to open in 2023, will offer 92 one-bedroom units and 10 two-bedroom units. TIMELINE: Construction commenced July 2021 (blasting and excavation) and took a break over the winter. Subtrades tendering is underway by invitation Only. The builder is currently tendering the following: Structural Steel Roofing and Waterproofing Steel Stud and Drywall Cabinets / Millwork Doors and Hardware Flooring and Tile Appliances Metal Siding.
