Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work includes the installation of 150 metres of 200 mm DI water main, 130 metres of 150 mm water main, 285 metres of 300 mm PVC sanitary sewer main, 130 metres of 200 mm PVC sanitary sewer main and 30 metres of 250 mm storm sewer along the walking trail, Marysville Street and Cochrane Street. The Nashwaak trail will be armoured with various size Rip Rap on the west side of the McConaghy Brook. The work also involves the reinstatement of embankments, landscaping, roadway granulars, walking trail, wooden fence, and all paved surfaces. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Tender Price (including HST). Subject to the Contract Documents and the Supplemental Conditions, the successful bidder shall be required to provide Performance Securities as specified in the Bid Documents. General Contractors only may obtain Drawings and Specifications from WSP Canada Inc, 80 Bishop Drive, Fredericton, NB 506-451-0055 at a cost of $50.00 (including HST) per set, non-refundable. Tender Documents are on display at the office of WSP Canada Inc, Fredericton, NB and the Construction Association Offices located in Fredericton, Saint John and Moncton.
