Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rome, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

As of July 5, 2022, the project is pending award. A firm timeline for award has not been established, however, the project is expected to be discussed by the Village of Randolph board at a meeting scheduled for July 11, 2022. Construction, Demolition/Building Removal/Hauling/Salvage, Sidewalks/Curbs/Gutters, Concrete/Formed/Flatwork/Foundation, Street/Road Asphalt Resurfacing and Milling, Street/Road Asphalt Milling, ADA Curb Ramps, Erosion Control/Slope, Bank Stabilization, Grade and Surface, Alley (Resurfacing or Reconstruction), Traffic Control Devices (Signals, Signing, etc.), Stormwater Improvements, Street/Road Materials, Erosion Control - Temporary, Paving (Asphalt or Concrete), Materials, Equipment and Supplies, Pedestrian Improvements, Storm Drain and Paving, Street/Roadway Reconstruction , Utility Street Construction and Excavation, Paving (Highway, Road or Street) Description: The work for which bids are asked includes the following approximate quantities: 260 L.F. of 6-Inch water main and services; 255 L.F. of 8-Inch sanitary sewer and laterals; 50 L.F. of 12-Inch storm sewer including structures; 1,600 S.F. of concrete driveway and sidewalk replacement; 1,600 S.Y. of asphaltic pavement; 1925 S.Y. of geotextile fabric, dense graded base and breaker run; as well as related work including unclassified excavation, erosion control, traffic control, turf restoration, site cleanup, and related miscellaneous construction. The anticipated substantial completion date is November 4, 2022 and final completion date is November 18, 2022. Additonal Description: No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Joe DeYoung, PE, 201 Corporate Drive, Beaver Dam, WI 53916. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The project is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
