Renovation of a mixed-use development in Batavia, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum; and playground / park / athletic field.
The project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Standing Seam Metal Roof system installation at the Peg Bond Center which shall replace the wood shingle and standing seam roof system. Standing Seam Metal Roof system installation at the North Point Pavilion which shall replace the wood shingle roof system. PVC single membrane roof which shall be installed over the existing insulation at the 150 Houston Street flat roof. Shingle replacement for the Depot Museum pitched roof, New PVC roofing for the Depot Museum at existing modified bit room and membrane restoration for the existing EPDM flat roof. The Lodge will receive a shingle replacement, roof vent replacement, gutter, and downspout replacements. Bidders will be responsible for any associated costs. A contract will be awarded at the June 21st, 2022 meeting of the Park Board. Bid proposals shall be plainly marked, "Batavia Park District Various Facility Roof Improvements - DO NOT OPEN" and be addressed to Josh Wyant at the Batavia Park District. The owner encourages minority business firms to submit bids for the performance of the work and the successful bidder to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors and suppliers for labor, equipment, and services. The Batavia Park District reserves the right to reject any/or all bid proposals or to accept any bid proposal, which in its judgement, will be the best interest of the public, or to waive any informalities in bidding. Only bid proposals in compliance with the provisions of the Contract Documents will be considered. No bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of forty-five (45) days after the date of opening.
